FAQ
IS WARRIOR PACKS FOR ME?
What should I expect?
Warrior Packs boot camp is a whole body workout designed to improve your stamina, speed, agility and strength in a fun and interesting way. Each instructor’s style is different and each session is varied to stop both your mind and body from getting bored. We guarantee that some of the exercises we do will be completely new to you. At each class participants are divided into ability groups of around 15 people. Classes start with a warm up followed by individual, pairs and team exercises, we end with a cool down and stretch.
What does Fitness as a team mean?
At Warrior Packs we recognize that the greatest truest progress always comes within a team. That’s why Warrior Packs workouts have always been about a common mission towards achieving shared goals together. Our team-based training helps you power through when struggling for motivation with the support of the new friendships you make along the way.
Is there a minimum age?
Yes. You need to be 18 years and over to participate in our classes.

We ask that you complete and sign the PAR-Q form that covers your current health status and hand it to your instructor before you start your first class.
Do I need to be fit?
No, a serious commitment to improve your level of fitness is the only pre-requisite required. Our classes are offered in three ability levels (level 1, level 2, and level 3). All of the ability levels perform similar types of exercises, however, depending on what level you register for you will perform a different number of reps, and run different distances.
Which level should I register for?

PREPARING FOR YOUR FIRST CLASS
Should I eat before class?
It's different for everyone - you will have to experiment to see what works best for you. A small meal consisting of a mix of carbohydrates with a bit of protein (totaling no more than 200 calories) is a great place to start.
What time should I arrive?
We ask that you arrive at 10 - 15 minutes early so that we can start promptly.
Do I need to bring water?
Yes, you need to remain hydrated during and after class. It's best to bring a waistpack that will allow you to run with your water.
What should I wear? Do I need to bring any exercise equipment?
You don’t need any special gear to train with Warrior Packs. Just wear comfortable workout clothes, sneakers with a good grip/support, and be sure to bring plenty of water in case there’s no water fountain nearby. During the winter months, it is recommended that you dress in layers and bring gloves, headlamp, hat and dry clothes to change into after class. Some exercises involve getting down on the ground so be prepared to get a little bit dirty – it’s part of the fun! Exercise equipment – All equipment required for the exercises will be supplied by the Warrior Packs instructor.
How long are the sessions?
The class length runs from 60 minutes (Level 1 – Believe) to 90 minutes (Level 2 – Instinct and Level 3 – Excel) long. This includes a warm up, a cool down and stretches.
Where do store my valuables?
Our classes are held outdoors so its best to leave them at home, lock them in the trunk of your vehicle or carry them with you in your waistpack.
How will I know if a class is cancelled due to weather?
We train in all weather conditions, so long as it is deemed safe to do so. We adapt our style of training to suit the elements around us.
